Texas Hold 'Em rules/strategy?

First off, if a card flips up when being dealt, what happens? Is it a burncard, redeal, etc. And, in your opinion, should you raise under the gun if you have a pocket pair or just slow play it and call?

If a card flips up when being dealt it is considered a burncard but you have to make sure that if one person saw the card then everyone gets to see it. You continue to play out the hand in a normal manner.

Pocket pair is to general. You treat 22 a lot more different than AA obviously. Decided whether to raise in early position with a pair depends on several factors. How many players are at the table? Which pair do you have? Are you likely to get reraised at this particular table or are players more likely to just call? How deep are the stacks at the table?

I mostly play shorthanded between 2 and 6 players at a table so I raise all pair UTG unless the table is really aggressive and reraising a lot and we are all roughtly 100 big blinds deep. If we were all REALLY deep then you could consider raising at these tables and calling a reraise looking to hit a set (I am talking about small and mid pair here).

With big pair I pretty much just like to raise and do everything to get all in preflop if possible. After all, AA and KK look a lot better preflop than they do when the flop comes down 9TJ monotone.
